Jacqueline Stephenson DO FACS
Dr. Jacqueline Stephenson is a Board Certified General Surgeon. She was born and raised in the West Texas town of Abilene and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She obtained her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. In pursuit of the highest quality surgical training, Dr. Stephenson relocated to Philadelphia where she completed her General Surgery Residency.
Following residency completion, Dr. Stephenson completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Advanced Endoscopy at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Stephenson offers a broad spectrum of advanced minimally invasive surgical and endoscopic techniques, treating a wide variety of conditions. Her top priority is the establishment of meaningful and trusting relationships with her patients with the goal of providing the highest quality individualized patient-focused care possible.
In addition to general surgical problems Dr. Stephenson's Fellowship training allows her to provide first class multi-disciplinary and comprehensive care to those suffering from acid reflux and Barretts esophagus, offering both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.
Outside of the clinic and operating room, Dr. Stephenson enjoys spending her free time with her family and Dachshunds. She enjoys playing and watching tennis, snow skiing, hiking, cycling, golf, music and traveling. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, SAGES and the Society of Laparoendoscopic and Robotic Surgeons (SLS).
